The first time we saw the Dutch-style drug in Amsterdam, it was a good way to end a relationship with a local drug store.
A few months earlier, it was a surprise hit, with sales of $400m at the store, which sold Viagra as well as Cialis. And with no sales of the generic versions of Viagra, Cialis remains the top selling erectile dysfunction treatment in the Netherlands.
“Our first thought is to take a tablet of Viagra and a pill of Cialis,” says Michael Leer, chief executive officer of the company. “But what’s happened is that we had a drug on the market. It’s not as effective as the original version.”
This was a big decision in the early days, says Leer. “The way we had it in a pharmacy is different to what’s available now. You can take a tablet of Viagra, a pill of Cialis, and a pill of Levitra, and it’s not as effective as the original version.”
But he also says it’s not about the drug, because that’s exactly what it is. It’s about finding the right balance between treating your ED and helping the patient with his or her health.
The idea of taking a pill of Cialis is not new. It was a popular prescription drug, but it has been used by many to treat other medical conditions, including erectile dysfunction and Parkinson’s disease.
In the Netherlands, a few years ago, the Dutch drug store began selling a new version of Viagra, called Sildenafil.
“I bought it online, it was really nice, I felt confident that the product was working,” says Leer. “I was surprised to see that they are the only ones that have a generic version.”
The drug, which is the same as Viagra, works by increasing blood flow to the penis. In the case of Viagra, it helps with erections, and Sildenafil is used to treat erectile dysfunction.
But when it comes to Cialis, it’s not the best product. It’s a pill that contains only 10 milligrams. That means the amount of the drug needed to get an erection is usually only 10 milligrams.
The pills, which are swallowed whole with water, are a pill of tadalafil, which is taken by mouth.
“We can’t recommend this product very highly,” says Leer. “But it’s a great medicine that should help you with your health.”
But in a country where Viagra is not available on the market, Leer says it’s not as good as the original. “It can be effective, but it can also cause side effects,” he says.
When Viagra is sold online, the drug is sold in stores.
“We are not doing anything about the sale of online drugs because it is so popular,” says Leer.
But Leer says he’s had some patients who have never had problems with the pills.
“They have not had any problems, but they are not able to get them.”
The problem is that these problems are a problem of both health and the patient. The problem can be in the patient’s sex life. He or she can have problems with the erection, and the problem is not physical, says Leer.
Some people who suffer with erectile dysfunction, say they should have their sex life restored, says Leer.
“The problem is not physical,” says Leer.
“It’s psychological.”
The problem is that the pill is so expensive. If it is not for a visit with a doctor, Leer says the medicine costs much less in the Netherlands. And he says there are many online pharmacies.
He points to a few sites selling Viagra, which he calls “a Viagra-type pill” that sells for about $40 a pill, says Leer.
Viagra is only available through a doctor and a prescription from the manufacturer.

A new treatment for that can work within 10 minutes has launched in the UK.
It is a gel called Eroxon, and has been clinically proven to work for people with mild to severe erectile dysfunction.
Eroxon is made by Futura Medical, a pharmaceutical company based in the UK.
Eroxon is applied to the head of the penis, where the gel evaporates, with this evaporation stimulates vascular and neural nerve endings by rapidly cooling and warming the area. This triggers the release of nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, therefore increasing blood flow to the penis and causing an erection.
The release of nitric oxide is also how other erectile dysfunction (ED) treatments such as Viagra work, but they have the disadvantage of relaxing blood vessels in the entire body, since they are taken orally and not applied directly. This can lead to side effects such as nausea, dizziness and headaches.
These side effects mean people with pre-existing health conditions, such as heart and liver disease, cannot take oral ED pills. They are also not safe for people who have recently had a stroke, and cannot be taken with some prescription medicines.
Dr Hilary Jones, who regularly appears as a health expert on ITV, told: “The word ‘breakthrough’ is often used in health headlines, but new treatments which are truly groundbreaking come along far less frequently. Eroxon is an innovative therapy which has the potential to change the lives of millions of men with erectile dysfunction.”
Dr Catherine Hood, a sexual health specialist, added: “When they were launched back in the 90s, PDE5i medicines were a game-changer, but they are not an option for many men due to pre-existing health conditions, interactions with their prescription medicines or simply because of the time they take to work.”
In a 12-week clinical trial of 250 people, two out of three reported a significant improvement in their ability to achieve and maintain an erection. The figure rose to 80 per cent for those with severe erectile dysfuncion.
